Corvette Annapolis Presents Carriages on West Street
About this event
As early travelers arrived in Annapolis, MD by ship, they were met by a horse drawn carriage. Once their belongings were unloaded from their ship, they would proceed up Main Street and travel to Baltimore, Philadelphia and over time to Washington, DC. Over the years West Street has evolved, yet in many ways is still the gateway from downtown Annapolis to the major highways of today. In an effort to respect the rich history and traditions of West Steet Annapolis, the name of the Corvette Annapolis car show called Carriages on West Street was born.
Please join us on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at West Street, Annapolis, MD to celebrate the history of West Street and appreciate the modern day High Performance "Carriages" of today.
Corvette Annapolis was founded in 1991, and is dedicated to the promotion of the Chevrolet Corvette, and camaraderie among Corvette owners in the greater Annapolis and Central Maryland area.
